Stop Competing by Sandi Krakowski

Stop competing with everyone. When we do this we lessen the value God created in us. Ask God to show you how amazing He sees you.

Competing is combative. It takes a lot of energy.

When we spend our days competing with others, comparing and constantly trying to measure up, we become smaller.

The value that God has placed inside of each of us is a gift to the world, this generation. If we keep competing with everything and everyone, do you think we’ll EVER hit our potential?

Is it possible that the world lacks because we’ve spent so much time competing? Ask God to show you how amazing He sees you.

He didn’t make junk. I don’t care how many mistakes you’ve made, what has happened to you in your past. I have a story that goes on and on through so many layers of darkness, it really doesn’t add up, so don’t try to compete with me. ☺

When you get a vision of your future and you begin to realize, it doesn’t all depend on you? The competing will stop.

Don’t even buy into this dysfunctional saying of ‘compete with only yourself’. I realize, as a business trainer, competitive athlete and more this is actually good advice. Only try to be a better version of your self. Yes.

But some of you have been competing with yourself for so long you always make sure you lose. Stop that.

It’s time. Time to step into your greatness. The value that God placed inside of you when you were knit in your mother’s womb is a gift that this generation needs.

Doesn’t matter who your Momma is. Doesn’t matter what her background is either.

The value God put inside of you is for the world to enjoy. Do all you can to release it. Be relentless in your pursuit. And in your journey, always remember, the direct proportion of your battle = your calling.

With love,

Sandi Krakowski

REST….. it’s a SUPER power!

REST- it’s a spiritual principle that so many people forget or misunderstand. Being lazy, refusing to work, craving a life with no work is not rest, it’s lethargy and will destroy your life, finances & relationships.

Rest is emotional, physical and spiritual. It’s when we purposefully lay aside things so we can be renewed, elevated and given strength. The blessing of God is on and in rest. It is not on laziness.

To push ourselves and feel false guilt when we should rest is an evil spirit. To think God will bless us when we sulk in laziness and apathy is equally evil. Rest will set you apart. It dissolves anxiety and all negativity trying to infect your life. Laziness will make you critical, judgmental and fearful.

Hard work refreshes and restores. Provision comes through work and he who does not forsake his land will see a harvest. Rest then solidifies the growth. Laziness will cause our harvest to dry up or become overgrown with weeds. It makes us frantic and hurried when we procrastinate and serve laziness. We become focused and diligent when we work hard and then rest.

Take time to just BE and refuse laziness and anxious haste.

It’s a new year! #BEMORE

Your Unique Design

We rescued a little kitten about 3 months ago. Sadly, the vet had found him in a garbage dump. He was only .5 lbs and very sickly. But he had a WILL TO LIVE. When we took my schnauzer Kobe in for a checkup for his diabetes I saw this little guy sitting in a cage and that was the end of it. I had to have him.

I texted my husband and sons and said I was bringing a kitten home! They all replied back to me almost identically, “NOW? Like here? Like now?”

It was fun walking in the door with a 3 week old kitten and telling them he was ours. For good. Everyone fell immediately in love with him. I started going through my checklist quickly of what we’d need to keep him safe. We got one of those ‘playpen’ type tents for kittens and puppies and put it in the living room. That kept him safe from The Cop, Kobe. My schnauzer has a certain obsession with stuffed animals and ripping out their squeaker. He tries all the time to get Latte’s squeaker. But Latte knows how to just run away. Latte is our 5 year old Ragdoll cat. We had to protect our little kitten for awhile from Latte as well. All he had to say was a big HIIISSSSSSS and ‘who do you think you are this is my house’ when he saw the kitten.

Within a few days, everyone was getting acclimated. Kobe kept stealing the kittens food, Latte kept wanting to sleep in the tent and thought he’d kick the kitten out. We were becoming a happy family!

Today, Latte is still hissing periodically at Chancho. Someone has to be the Alpha. Kobe plays endearingly with our 12 week old kitten. He’s figured out that the little guy has CLAWS and can defend himself. Chancho is almost 100% back to total health and we adore him. My sons named our kitten Chancho because they wanted a little pig for a pet but that wasn’t going to happen in my house, so apparently their retaliation against my decision was to name our kitten ‘little pig’ in Spanish. We all laugh because not only is he a little pig but he’s a little monkey! He climbs up AND down anything he can at all hours of the day! His instincts are incredible!

Chancho loves to play with a little kitten toy and he’ll stalk it… look away like he’s disinterested and then POUNCE on top of it like the mighty warrior cat that he’s designed to be. I watch him and think to myself, “WHO taught you to act like a cat? How on earth did you learn to do that? How did you learn to look away so your prey doesn’t know you are about to pounce? How do you know to climb up and down?!”

Instinct is a powerful thing.

We teach it to the business owners I coach. We’ll even have A Real Change Exclusive certified Kolbe coaches at my company in 2014 teaching the path of instinct. Instinct is your hard wiring. It will prevent you from role playing and wasting your life.

Chancho isn’t trying to be Kobe. He’s not resentful when Kobe does his dog things because he was trying to be like him, but he didn’t quite measure up. Kobe isn’t trying to be like Latte or Chancho. He lives true to his own instinct. Latte, well he’s an $850 cat and need I say more? He would NEVER think of acting like anyone other than who he is designed to be. 🙂

YOU were created with a unique design. To fulfill that design and calling is a gift to the world!

Be More

My energy is at full speed early in the morning. So it would be silly of me to write my book, articles, or anything that requires the best of me later in the day. The best use of my time is to go with my natural rhythm.

Why do people try to push against their natural bent?

Maybe it’s because we’ve been pushing and pushing for so long we forgot we had a choice. We fight against an invisible force that we believe is holding us back from doing what our natural ‘bent’ is because deep inside somewhere we’ve believed that we don’t have a choice.

It’s like the invisible police who never come. The loud mouthed critic who never shows up. We fight wars that don’t exist and we press ourselves to just… survive.

Use your time wisely. You DO have a a choice and NO ONE has the power to hold you back.

2014 could be the year your dream comes true, be sure each decision made is in alignment with that goal.
