Day Thirty Three – In Love Ment

posted by Melanie Lutz

The definition of involvement is as follows  1) The fact or condition of being involved with or participating in something.  2)  Emotional or personal association with someone.

Over the holiday’s one of my friend’s nine year old son read a card he got from his aunt and uncle for his birthday.  As he was reading the word involvement, in his mind the letters transformed and he say out oud ”in-love-ment.”  In Love ment.  Sounds like a great idea to me.

Let’s get involved with more love.  Let’s take today to be loving in every way.

Day Thirty Two – Get the Nerve and Rise Up

posted by Melanie Lutz

Promise me that today you will do what you are afraid to do.  That you will say what is in your heart to say.

Never more and never before has it been important to stand and speak the truth to power.  It is a time of great change and great opportunity so stop being a unique conformist and get out of your box and say what needs to be said.  Get the answer you want to know in your heart and then MOVE ONWARD@@!! to what is next.

Get the nerve and excerise the muscle beyond the beyond, somewhere over the sea, have faith in what you can’t see and journey deeper into your life.

Ask the qestion.  Get the answer. Live your life. Fully.  No excuses.  No regrets.  All love.

Make your life an emblem of beauty. Standing for what is Loving, allowing any action that is necessary to rise up. Never forgetting the highest space of possibility. Remaining centered, so when adversity strikes, when you are irritated, when getting knocked down or stumbling awkwardly when your intention was to soar you know Love takes it all in stride allowing us as Dorothy Fields wrote to “take a deep breath, brush ourselves off and start all over again.”

Day Thirty One – Count Your Blessings

posted by Melanie Lutz

I am blessed to live and love my life surrounded by people who have a dream, who work every day to transcend the fear of the unknown, and every day rise up to whatever comes no matter what, with grace and compassion.

I have come to a place in my life where I love everyone I meet for who they are, and not for who I wish they were.   The biggest gift you can give anyone is to not make it about you and instead to have new vision to count the blessings of what people are bringing to your life.   Love doesn’t ask you to judge.  Love doesn’t ask for you to understand anything.  It merely requrires you to open your heart and let it flow.  If it aches to do this, more the better.

Take today to count the blessings in your life and to love someone more than you thought possible.  Turn into the people you see every day, and give yourself the honor of meeting face to face in a practice of loving them more.  Go into the qalities that make you feel love and experience more and more of that fully and at the deepest most open space of your being where you are truly meeting another naked and unashamed.  With love.

Yes, I have heard and experienced that we are meaner to the people that we love the most than we would ever be to a stranger or a friend.  It is a beautiful shift to practice in your life turning to the person who you have spent years of your life with and to say from that open space of your heart.  I love you.  (hugging from the heart is also a fantastic process – see AMMA )

This shift is something I am proud to stand with and to share as often as possible.  Be love.   Watch the world of the heart open up.

Try to love someone a little more instead of being so irritated as to why you are not doing what you feel you need them to do.  Process your own frustrations in a different space.  Give yourself new tools of learning to communicate your needs.   Don’t beat up those you love most.  Cherish them.

“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” Proust.

Encourage the ideals that we all share with those we hold most dear, let us say today.

We have –

Peace on earth.
Freedom of expression.
Love in our hearts for our neighbors.
and be in service to each other to bring a brighter day.

Hold this in your heart as you move through the days ahead, repeat often and with much joy and share as often as possible.

Today and everyday.

Lots of Love,

Melanie

Day Thirty – Forever Thankful

posted by Melanie Lutz

Thanks God for everything!   As Meister Eckhart says “If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.”

Thanks be for everyone, everywhere.

Thank you to all who contribute their time and attention and energies to the spirit of our collective connection.

The gifts you have so graciously given are deeply appreciated.

Thank you for all your loving thoughts and Thank you for extending that experience of grace through you with each breath you take.

In short.  Thank you.

May Love land in the deepest spaces of your truest self and may the lightest touch of peace awaken all to your call.

With infinite Love and Gratitude…

Melanie

The book told through a series of letters The Color Purple written by Alice Walker was reformed as a brilliant movie directed by Steven Spielberg and then into a blockbuster Broadway show.  The book starts with the lead character writing a letter to a God outside of herself not understanding why God is not listening to her and moves through a beautiful story of the birth of a soul, ending with a letter to a God within her, and everything she sees, marking the shift in her faith and deeper understanding of the mystery of source.

This idea is powerfully translated in the below song from Broadway Show.

“Dear God, Dear Stars, Dear Trees, Dear Sky, Dear People, Dear Everything…. Dear God.
God is inside of me and everything else, that was or ever will be.”

Day Twenty Nine – Do Your Best

posted by Melanie Lutz

Surprise yourself.

When the best of us is brought forth, it gives us the chance to let go of the worst of us.

It’s time to move into deep respect and appreciation for who you are.   No holding back.   Everything started in love knows how to return to that space.

 Repeat after me…

I will do what is necessary to make any change that will free me of my past judgments and addictions. I am willing to act in my best interests, I am willing to love and forgive myself that I may be in service to those around me.

No matter what divides us… We must remain united in the highest order of freedom. With respect for our differences and find our common humanity. Let’s make practicing humanity a way of life. Not because it’s easy. But because it’s the right thing to do.

We owe it to those who come after us not to fall asleep, not to forget who we are, and to take advantage of the deeper conversation.

Today, and every day.

 Have a great one!

love,

Melanie

Day Twenty Eight – Be You

posted by Melanie Lutz

Being precedes the doing.  So today is the day to be in touch with the present.  To love well. To be well.

My first mentor taught me ‘don’t try to be better than your competitors try to be better than yourself.  It brings to mind the quote from my dear friend’s support group for the Mother’s of Down Syndrome children, who has the most beautiful son named Gideon… “normal is a cycle on the washing machine.”

Heck YEAH!  Normality is a function of whoever is the perceiver and has no bearing on the truth.

Who’s to know anything.  Each life touches so many others in so many ways what you think is your greatest challenge can be your greatest blessing.

Who’s to say.

Let’s take today to own all of it.

Be you.  All of you.
Own what you know.
Know where you stand.
Share the message when you can.

In the light of remembering to be all of you.  You might need a little reminder that you don’t do it alone.  Enjoy CeCe Winans and Yolanda Adams singing Count on Me at the Grammy tribute to Whitney Huston… what a song, such a great message and a beautifully produced tribute that resonates…

Count on me through thick and thin
A friendship that will never end
When you are weak I will be strong
Helping you to carry on
Call on me, I will be there
Don’t be afraid
Please believe me when I say
Count on me

smiles,

Melanie

Day Twenty Seven – Embrace Who You Are

posted by Melanie Lutz

The secret of everything is to love yourself as you are.  When this is your mission within each moment, no matter what anyone says or shares with you – you understand it for what it is – information that is being delivered for your consideration. Not to derail you, or to take on as truth, but merely as information outside of your self.

When you love yourself, you have a clear boundary around remembering the truth, ‘what other people think of you is none of your business’, your only job today and everyday is to love yourself and wash whatever comes your way with that loving energy which understands intuitively you are more than enough…. Just as you are.

L.A. REID talking about his mentoring for X Factor reflected ”I wish for myself that I will mentor them for who they are, not for what I wish them to be.”

How often are we caught up in giving someone some advice on how they could be instead of embracing who they are? Instead of extending acceptance for who and what they do.

The greatest power you have to change a situation or circumstance is in direct correlation to your level of accepting it exactly as it is without trying to change anything, offering a new vision of possibility for them to rise into after the total compassion for the total person.

You can’t change what you haven’t realized so in giving the gift of acceptance, you enable to possibility of undefended vision, allowing the person to grow beyond what they were attached to.

So thank you God for making you.  Thank God for making them.

Life is an ever unfolding gift when you are willing to remember everything begins when you stop the chaos of your thinking and stay present.

It’s time to realize there is nothing to change and then watch how everything happens.

Today is the day.

lots of Love,

Melanie

Here’s your extra Bonus qote (just because : ) and you probably need a little Marianne.

“It takes courage…to endure the sharp pains of self discovery rather than choose to take the dull pain of unconsciousness that would last the rest of our lives. Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.” ~Marianne Williamson

Day Twenty Six – Let us PRAY

posted by Melanie Lutz

Prayer is the medium of miracles, so you have to ask through prayer for your heart to be lightened for your traumas to be removed and for your circumstances to shift.

Give it over.

Today is the day we say

“All we can do is PRAY!”

AND

Bust it out. Let it go.  Ask for what you need with all your heart and RELEASE that peace of  prayer out into the world.

Then REJOICE.

As you move forward with each new day, remember, some of ‘God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers’  (God, I love Country Music)

Go forth with your heart open and watch the miracles unfold.

 So today and everyday…

LET US PRAYYYY!!!!!

 smiles

Melanie

ps. excuse the language on this track and feel your way to the spirit held within.  Thanks Gordon

Twenty Five – Now is the Time

posted by Melanie Lutz

The deepest form of Community is to join with a brother in a purpose higher than your own. Let today be a reminder there is much to be done and bust out the Love, open your heart and turn up the volume to an eleven.

Martin Luther King’s words from his historic “I Have A Dream” speech reveal more than a dream, his opening remarks offer up a deep truth and a reminder that the moment is now, not tomorrow, not next week, it is always and only now, as we move into this era of global transformation.

“We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children.”

The issue of equal rights is part of a larger statement about human rights. About the practice of humanity. Martin Luther King Jr’s dream exploded and became reality.  As Michael Beckwith says MLK didn’t go to Washington D.C. and say ‘I have a complaint.’  He went to Washington DC and said “I have a dream.”

See today where you are forgetting your dream and pick it back up and share it with a brother.  Join together.  As ACIM says an idea grows stronger when shared and there is nothing stronger than an agreement between two people.

It is time to join together.  It is time to practice the principles of Non Violence in the pursuit of a global practice of humanity.

On the planet today there are one billion people who live in poverty. Who struggle to feed themselves and their families.

THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE.

When a brother is in trouble, we are all in trouble.

Hiding in the bosom of the cult of culture is not going to do it. No more living in the delusion of separation and being different. No more blinders. It is time for the truth. Recognizing our commonalities. Recognizing our note in the song of the universe enabling the harmony of our practice of humanity, that connection we yearn for to truly resonate. Until all of us on this planet are peaceful, none of us can experience true happiness.

Starting here. Starting now. Make a choice to practice humanity.  Make your “fierce urgency of now” flourish in brilliance and connection and Love.

smiles,

Melanie

Day Twenty Four – Create a Positivity Team

posted by Melanie Lutz

Everyone no matter the profession needs a positivity team.  Put yours together today.

We all need people to remind us-
To love everyone
That you are beautiful
That You can do it

AND

You are fabulous!

AWAKEN YOUR Positivity Team today.

Put a support structure to cheer lead you through the days of your life .

Whatever form of insult that takes you to your bottom (and there are many) or for that matter anything that lifts you into the stratospheres, the single most important factor in sustaining personal harmony and living your life from foundational integrity is having a support system. Where would any of us be without the people, places and teams that provide support to our efforts. That allow us to grow, that enable us to be “something different today than we were yesterday.” That accept all parts of who we truly are, embracing the bumps and bruises and the light and dark allowing us to surrender into any circumstance with a loving sense of safety and personally held integrity.

By finding your people, those individuals that get you, that you don’t have to “work” to explain yourself around. Those safe people, places and spaces that honor your intention of simply knowing you are “good enough” just as you are when remembering that truth becomes difficult. This will be your “Love You” team and will hold the space for your continual flourishing and blossoming and be there providing nourishment through those times of hibernation sowing the seeds of your most radiant centered self with you in spirit weathering storms and cherishing successes become second nature in a process of energizing your inner flame.

There are no secrets to the cycles of life merely unrecognized opportunities to remember the truth. By understanding everything is a lesson being served up for growth in your personal practice of interdependence, by being proactive in building a “Love You” team to support your efforts you will be able to liberate yourself from any self sabotaging moments that stop, stall, divert and tempt you to move into fearful thinking; to help support the true vision of love everlasting, ever giving and all knowing. To be all of you.

smiles and thanks to Marianne Williamson for sharing such a beautiful message!
