The love of the Father is unlike any other love on the planet. He wants to see all His children happy and content with life. He especially longs for a relationship with everyone. His love for us is indescribable. His love is deeper than any ocean, wider than any river and purer than any sun painted skyline. If He can place the stars in the sky and remember them by name, surely, He will show His love for you.  It is and can be overwhelming to know that the creator of the universe wants a relationship with us. It is even more overwhelming that He was willing to die for us. He sent His one and only son to die for us, so we didn’t have to take the punishment of Hell upon ourselves. He selflessly did that for us. No one else can even come close to giving us that type of love.

When I don’t think, things will work out, God proves Himself to me by helping me get through difficult, sometimes what I think are seemingly impossible odds. When I come through those situations, I’m wiser and filled with new appreciation that God keeps His promises to deliver me through adversity. He always has a way of showing His power and grace in ways I never imagined. It never ceases to amaze me the way He works in my life and in other’s lives.

There are many verses in the Bible that describe Gods love for us. Zephaniah 3:17 says, “The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” God rejoices in our victories and is in sorrow with us during our hard times. When we have something great happen in our lives, He is right there cheering us on. He even celebrates with us in our victories. He celebrates each time something makes us happy.  When something difficult happens to us, He is right there for us to lean on.

Other verses that point out God’s love are: John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” This verse manifests its truth in the hearts of many believers and so many have committed it to memory. Some may find it hard to believe that God would really send His one and only son to give us eternal life in Heaven, but this popular verse in His word proves it is true. God did love us all enough to send His one and only Son to die for each one of us.

Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God. who loved me and gave himself for me.” God lives in each of us in word, deed and spirit. Likewise, we should try our hardest to be like Jesus in everything we do. Being like Jesus is no easy task, especially with sin in this world. It is a hard but worthwhile task to try to follow His example of loving all people.  If we are God’s children, we are ultimately called to bring others to the Kingdom. This verse states that Christ lives in each one of us and we are accepted to God’s kingdom if we fully believe in Him with all our hearts. We don’t even get to live or take a breath nonetheless thrive each day, without God allowing it to happen. He loves us enough that He wants to see us happy and thrive in life.   None of what we do in life, could be possible without God ordaining it. Whether it was for a blunt lesson or a subtle reminder, from God, He allows things to happen to us in ways we may not ever understand, but they are all for His glory.

Romans 5:8 says: “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This verse says that Jesus willingly let himself be put to death on the cross for all our sakes to save us from the eternal damnation of Hell. He did it to show the world what His purpose on Earth was, and to save us by showing His love for us. No other person has even come close to the sacrifice of God allowing Jesus to die on the cross for us.

1 Peter 5:6-7 says, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” This verse tells us to cast all our worries on God. He doesn’t think any of us are a burden. In fact, He thinks just the opposite of that. He loves us all unconditionally and has, will, and not to mention does, gladly put all of our hardships on himself. He allows us to put all our cares, concerns and worries on His shoulders, freely. He even invites us to come to Him saying “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mathew 11:28-30. God’s love is the only love on Earth and in Heaven that can bring us total peace and allow us to know Him on a deep personal level.

His love is sweeter than the taste of a summer rain or the beauty of a breeze on a spring day. He has many ways of showing His love for us. He shows His love for you by having someone pay for your meal at a restaurant, by someone helping you when you’re struggling with a task at work, or having someone make meals for you when you’re going through the loss of a family member. Other ways He shows His love for you is through Christian music and songs such as Casting Crown’s song, “Glorious Day”- “Living He Loved me, dying He saved me, buried He carried my sins far away, Rising He justified, freely forever, one day He’s coming. Oh, glorious day. Oh, glorious day.” God is always with us and is willing to grace us with His mercy and unending love. All we have to do is be willing to look for it.

God can and always does make a way when there seems to be no way. If he can heal the sick, the dying and raise the dead back to life in Biblical times, I can only imagine what He can and will do in my life and in other’s lives. You can pray to Him with words such as, “Lord help us to experience your love in ways that point others towards you. Thank you for loving us in ways that no one else can. Thank you for your never-ending mercy and grace. No matter what we go through, help us to lean on you. In Jesus name, Amen.” God will surely hear your prayers. No matter how big or how small, whether the prayers are whispered in your heart or said out loud. Whether you pray by yourself, with another person, or with a group of people, He hears you.

The closer we get to Him, the easier our lives become. Once you begin to seek His words, His wisdom and His ways, He will pour out His love on you and the people you are closest to. His love is constant and consistent. His love is the purest love anyone can find. Be blessed as He proves His love to you anew, each day.
