On Monday, Mars enters Virgo. Although Mars can always bring mayhem whenever it likes, A Virgo Mars doesn’t have the reputation for danger as in a lot of other places in the Zodiac. That might be different this time around, due to an unexpected culprit: Mercury.

Mercury rules Virgo, and thus has an influence on Mars at this time. And Mercury spends its last day in Cancer completing the opposition to Pluto — and any planet opposite Pluto is going to be as edgy as a toddler drinking espresso. Then on Tuesday, Mercury enters Leo while that opposition is still in effect. Now, do Leos have a reputation for being temperamental? Find out for yourself. Approach a Leo friend of yours and ask: “Hey, do you have a temper? Also, did you know your haircut looks stupid?”

Other than that, Venus continues to slow down during the buildup to it going retrograde on the 22nd and remains square to Uranus. Furthermore, Venus quincunx Neptune (exact on Saturday) is here to lend more fuzzy-headedness to Venus matters. Think of this as the week where your romantic ambitions, budgeting attempts, and/or that diet you’re trying to stick to all wake up asking themselves “Where am I, what did I do last night, and where are my pants?”
