The Star is the future.
It’s not here now, not here yet. Stars are far away. This card always feels vague to me. Hope? Yay! Whatever.

I know I know, context is everything. I rather see the Star than the Tower but when I see the Star, I shrug my shoulders. I just don’t “feel” it.

Hope, but how do we get there? 

It’s a card of healing and peace and light, yes. But what else is it? How do we get to this beautiful place? 

Important to remember that the Star follows the Tower in the Major Arcana. Hope follows crisis and loss. The Star is what is left. The Star is us. We’re naked. We’ve been destroyed by the Tower but somehow we found water. We eventually got home after wilderness and wasteland. The Star reminds us to look up.

-recovery, you will be healthy again, you’ll have energy again
-being open where once you were closed, closed off
-peace of mind, tranquility
-things will get better
-let your worries go, pour them out
