Movement Day 2012 is expected to be a one-day event featuring remarkable leaders and speakers including Richard Stearns, the President of World Vision; Evangelist Luis Palau of the Luis Palau Association; Ajith Fernando, former president of Youth for Christ, and several others. There also will be 14 topical tracks held in the afternoon that leaders can choose from—tracks that focus on specific urban issues. It’s a full day of ministry-impacting teachings, a day of networking with other leaders from around the country, a day focused on transforming the world for Christ one city at a time.

“The concept and program are definitely growing, both in numbers of committed people and in the level of excitement,” report Movement Day 2012 organizers. “More than 800 leaders from 150 cities and 14 countries attended Movement Day 2010. Last year that attendance number increased to more than 1,000 leaders. We’re also seeing Christian leaders in more than 30 cities forming ‘city teams’ and working together to face the social spiritual issues of their cities head-on with the Gospel. And it’s working! People’s lives and multiple cities are being transformed by these collaboratives. It’s very inspiring. “
