5 Lessons from Unnamed Women in the Gospels
Several women are named in the gospels, and a few appear repeatedly such as Mary (Jesus’ mother), Elizabeth (Mary’s cousin), Martha (Jesus’ friend), her sister, Mary (who may or may not be the same person as Mary Magdalene, also mentioned several times).
These women have been studied and written about extensively, but we often miss the significance of the unnamed women in the Bible. Although they appear briefly, they can teach us valuable lessons.
