Sam Morse: Alpine Ski Racing
Sam Morse, who will make his Olympic debut in 2026, specializes in downhill racing and the Super-G. He's a former Junior World's Downhill Champion and has spent years working his way up the U.S. ski team's ranks.
Morse is a native of Maine and began skiing at 23 months old. His nickname, "Moose," reflects his roots in the Maine woods and his love of camping, whitewater kayaking, wilderness canoeing and rock climbing.
He founded and leads the Sam Morse Faith and Ski Training (FAST) Camp, which provides affordable, holistic training for aspiring skiers under 12 and under 18. The camp focuses on developing participants' skiing skills and promoting personal growth.
In an interview, Morse once said, "My faith is my life. It is the glue that holds it all together. My goal is to be a loyal servant of my savior and proclaim his name from the highest mountains."
