quotes of encouragement

Do you think that after everything you have been through in your life, that God isn’t with you? Do you think that the God who created you in His image, the God who sees you as flawless and perfect in His eyes, would suddenly just turn away from you in the middle of the hardships you’re facing? God has brought you through all the hardships all the strife in your life so far, do you think that He really wouldn’t be with you through the situation you’re facing right now?

Whatever you’re facing right now, he will get you through it. Cry out to Him and ask for His help. There is nothing that He won’t bring you through. Even when you can’t see the way out of a struggle, just continue to trust that His plans and His ways are bigger and better than yours. Tell Him that He can have His way with your life, no matter what happens and do your best to keep that same attitude throughout life.

Has God gotten you through your financial difficulties and give you the money you didn’t think you had, Has He gotten you through a situation where you didn’t even think you had enough money to get appliances replaced? Has He proven to you that He is always there and you had the savings? Has He given you a chance to get some home improvements done that are desperately needed?

Have you ever had marriage troubles where you thought there was no way out? Were there arguments that you didn’t think you would get through with your spouse? Did you cry out to God in earnest and beg Him to spare your marriage before that chapter closed on both of you guys forever? God hears those cries no matter how silent they may be. He always hears your cries, no matter what they are about.

Do you really think that He’s just going to leave you to handle things on your own? He won’t just walk away from you and leave you to figure things out on your own. He gives you some of His strength in order to ride out any storm you face. You can ask Him for more of His strength whenever you are in a place when you need support.  He will never leave you or forsake you. He loves you enough to die for you. He freely gives your life and eternal salvation, so why would He ever leave you?

Just because Satan makes you feel as though you’re all alone, don’t believe his lies.  Satan can make you think that there is no way out of any situation that you are in right now. Even in the middle of temptation, no matter what, you are never alone and you never will be.

Remember the verse from Deuteronomy 31:6 that says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” It will always be true, too. Never forget that He is always with you.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Whenever things become too much to handle, you can and probably should always turn to God for support. Turn your anxious thoughts into prayer. Replace your anxious thoughts with peace. The peace that comes from God is the peace that surpasses all human understanding. It envelops you and takes you over whenever you pray.  It makes you realize just how powerful your connection to God really is. Trust that God can heal you from your sickness or heal your family member from any sickness that they are facing. Trust that God is with them and with you.

Look at everything that you thought you’d never get through. By His grace alone, you made it through. You might have stared death in the face and made it out alive. What are some of the places where you were in despair to the point where you couldn’t even think of turning to God? Most of the time, during those dark hours of your life, is when God is trying to get your attention and turn you back towards Him. He is trying to help you understand that you don’t have to continually wear yourself down to the bone and rely on your own strength. That is where He comes in.

Listen to Him when He is trying to get your attention.
