The song “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion is a song that is adored by so many. She made this song a huge hit. It is about how anyone’s significant other, friend or even a family member helped shape someone into who they are. As the song says, “I’m everything I am, because you loved me”.  But what many may not realize is that many interpret this song from a God fearing, Christian standpoint. That same line can be viewed as the way God loves every single one of us and helps us through our lives on a day to day basis. It can be sung to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that we are everything we are because He loves us. Look at all the times He stood by us, made us see the truth, and has brought joy into our lives and all the wrongs that He makes right. The dreams He has put into our hearts and has helped us follow through into making them a reality. We can and should be forever thankful to Him for everything He has done in our lives.   The lyrics are as follows:

He knew us before we were even a glimmer in our family’s eyes. He knew and knows us better than anyone. God is the one who truly helps us up when we fall, and He is the one who has seen us through storms that seemed impossible to get through.

He is our eyes when we’ve become blinded by the world and all of our sin. He always sees the best that there is in each one of us, even when we don’t see the good and the best we have within ourselves. He is there pushing us along to help us make the right choices in our path and in our faith walk with Him. He lifts us to heights we can’t even fathom us reaching.

He even says in the Bible that nothing is impossible with him. When He stands by us, we stand tall. We are blessed every day to love our Lord and Savior and to be loved by Him. He could have very easily damned us all into hell, but instead He sent His son to die for us on the cross. God often puts us into uncomfortable situations to see how we react. When we lose our faith he gives it back to us. We should always be grateful for each day He gives us because we don’t know when our last day will be.

Our lives are truly amazing, because of Him. When we can’t see He shows us the right path to take.
