Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her wedding day—and the dress that left her new husband, NFL quarterback Josh Allen, completely stunned.

In the latest issue of her Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld opened up about the magical moment Allen saw her walk down the aisle in a custom Tamara Ralph gown.

“Okay, Josh says we have to talk about my dress now because I ‘stunned’ him when I got to the altar,” she wrote. “It’s easily the most perfect gown I’ve ever put on my body.”

The dress featured a strapless bodice with a fitted corset and a delicate bow at the back. A dramatic circular train trailed behind her, completing the elegant silhouette. Despite juggling press for a new Ryan Coogler film, the design was completed in just six weeks. “On our wedding day, when I put on this dress, I actually lost my breath,” Steinfeld shared. “I’ve never felt more like myself and more beautiful.”

She paired the gown with sheer opera gloves, a long French Chantilly lace veil, and pearl-and-diamond earrings worth $50,000. Her wedding-day manicure was done by celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik.

As for the groom, Allen wore a dashing Tom Ford suit. “He looked like the man of every dream I’ve ever had,” Steinfeld gushed. “Josh standing under this huge structure; it was the most surreal thing I’d ever seen.”

Though many couples wait until the ceremony to see each other, Steinfeld and Allen opted for a quiet breakfast of lemon ricotta pancakes together the morning of the wedding. “I don’t think I could’ve gone the whole day without seeing him!” she wrote.

The couple tied the knot on May 31 in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by friends and family. The celebration lasted until 3 a.m., complete with a DJ, cigar bar, burgers, fries, cookies, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Guests even jumped into the pool in their formalwear—but Steinfeld skipped the plunge to preserve her second show-stopping dress: a feather- and sequin-embellished gown with a dramatic plunging back.

Steinfeld, 28, and Allen, 29, have been together since May 2023 and got engaged in November. In a previous newsletter, Allen shared his heart behind the proposal: “I said I couldn’t wait any longer. I said, ‘I can’t wait to start a family with you.’ I said your full name and I asked you very nicely.”

Now, just weeks into marriage, Steinfeld says they’re still basking in the glow. “It’s been a whole 13 days of being married, and we’ll be staying on this high forever!”
