(This is part of the Mars in Aries series I will be running throughout the rest of this year. Mars is going to spend a ridiculously long time in Aries, and the more prepared you are for it, the better. CLICK HERE for the introduction to this series.)

This week I’m taking a slightly different approach to the Capricorn-Aries clash, and for good reason. Mars is slowing down and getting ready to go retrograde. If you have a clear view of the night sky where you live, you may have noticed Mars getting visibly brighter recently because of this, This week Mars only covers 26 to 27 degrees of Aries, and barely makes it into the 28th degree before it turns retrograde a couple of weeks from now.

This means that, essentially, Mars in Aries will be in a very close square to Saturn and an uncomfortably close square to Pluto, or vice versa, between now and October.

(Wondering what the next few months hold in store for you? Write me with your date, time, and place of birth — and I’ll send you a free sneak preview!)

Sorry. I should have made sure you were sitting down before I told you that.

Rather than just deliver this week’s generalized warnings, I think now is a good time for you to learn the details of your birth chart — and specifically how they will be affected. In other words, rather than me simply dictating to you “what’s going to happen”? As the classic movie tagline puts it, “this time it’s personal.”

So here’s what I’m going to propose that everyone do:

There are plenty of places on the internet where you can put in your date, time, and place of birth and get a copy of your birth chart, and a listing of what degrees each of the planets and points in your chart is at. If you can’t find a place like that (or have a hard time interpreting it), feel free to write me with the information and I’ll get back to you with the specifics you need to know.

Remember, we are looking at the planets in your birth chart, your Ascendant, or your Midheaven, at between roughly 20 to 29 degrees of any given Sign (or 0-2 degrees of any Sign (yeah, astrology gets complicated sometimes. I’ll help you sort it out). Some are being helped by the current Transit, summer taking a hit, and for some it’s a mixed bag.

Now, once you’ve got that information about your birth chart? Come back next time and I’ll explain to you what you can expect in terms of good news and or bad news. Either way, remember forewarned is forearmed. See you here next time!
