beliefnet matthew currie astrology mars jupiter saturn uranus forecast

Reading where the transiting planets are in relation to a birth chart in order to predict the future can be complicated even at the best of times. But especially so in the next couple of months, which will provide some interesting circumstances involving four of the Solar System’s big players: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus.

There are some times coming up when many of you will feel a lot of tension, and a lot of you will find some serious relief, but in either case it may not be all that straightforward.

To explain further, I’m going to use one of my favorite examples: Godzilla. Godzilla has a reputation, understandably so, for being a gigantic scary monster who destroy cities… most notably Tokyo. That’s true of course, but what this neglects is that in the majority of his film appearances, Godzilla has actually served to protect the Earth from some much greater menace.

If you have any placements between 15 and 20° in your birth chart, that’s your Personal Tokyo. Although the ground has been rumbling in those regions from the approaching Titans, the peak hasn’t hit yet. If you know what those planets are in your birth chart, and the functions they serve for you, then forewarned is fore-armed.

The action will be happening in three separate time frames: first between now and the end of the month, when the Saturn-Uranus quincunx that has already been rattling your teeth for the last couple is joined by Mars. Towards the end of September things get really interesting. Just as the Saturn-Uranus quincunx is drifting apart, Jupiter forms a trine with Uranus. Then finally in October Mars in Sagittarius is trine Uranus.

So here is the pattern you can look for in the next two months or so: a lot of the things that have been tense (and “tension” can be either “good” or “bad”) for you in the last while are likely about to get much more tense…. followed by an excellent chance of a positive resolution, or at least less tension.

The Specifics:

Mars Conjunct Saturn/Mars Quincunx Uranus (Now-August 30th): Imagine that your Personal Tokyo is being constricted and inflated at the same time. And then imagine the both the constriction and the inflation suddenly increase. Whatever the Saturn-Uranus quincunx has been doing to you in the last couple of months, it’s going to develop an edge. This aspect is exact on the 25th, which is the same day as the New Moon. I’ll have more on that in the next few days.

Jupiter Trine Uranus: (September 10th-October 15th): This is a really remarkable opportunity for you to be brilliant and expand your horizons and quite possibly make a bold new leap into a better life for yourself. Your personal Tokyo has been saved by a surprise intervention from Mothra. Being slower planets, this aspect will be in effect for a fair while, but the exact date is September 25th.

Mars Trine Uranus (September 28th-October 10th): It would be a lot easier to do brilliant things if you had the drive and motivation. You may have had one of these things, but Mars is here to provide the other. Godzilla has absorbed all the radiation from the invading alien’s weapons and is firing it back at them! Your Personal Tokyo is saved (if a bit radioactive)! This aspect hits the exact degree on October 4th-5th.

All this will be followed by the conclusion of your Personal Tokyo event in October and November when Jupiter is in square Saturn… but we’ll get to that later.

And of course, once that’s over, there will be nothing else scary going on for your friendly neighborhood astrologer or you to worry about. Oh, except for December when Jupiter goes retrograde, Saturn enters Sagittarius, and the Uranus-Pluto square reaches another exact peak. But don’t worry: there’s bound to be plenty of good news for you coming up as well. Contact me for a reading and I’ll tell you all about it!
