Carrie Underwood recently shared to her Instagram a series of images of the matching tattoos that she got with her mom and sisters while in Las Vegas. “When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, ‘what?’ and ‘where?’” Carrie wrote on Instagram. “I never would’ve thought I’d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin’ some ink!”
Underwood recently wrapped up the first few dates on her Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World Theatre. The “Before He Cheats” singer showed off the matching heart tattoos in her Instagram post along with sharing images of her and her mother getting the tattoos, both looking very relaxed.

The tattoo artist, Darek Riley, shared his own Instagram post expressing his gratitude for the Underwood girls. “Experiences like this make Las Vegas one of the coolest places to live,” he shared in his own caption. “A huge thank you to the Underwood gals for coming by and spending the afternoon in my studio. I am so grateful.”
Just last month Underwood shared images from a girls trip with her husband’s sisters where they also received matching ink. She shared an image of her small flower tattoo on her forearm that she got with her sisters-in law. “Sisters…not by blood…but sisters nonetheless,” she wrote. “God truly showed us great favor by putting us all together. These ladies are strong, kind and faithful and I’m so happy I get to do life with them!!!”
