The “Evangelical Christian Publishers Association” (ECPA) is a worldwide non-profit organization made up of multiple member companies that play integral roles in the publishing and sharing Christian material internationally. The “Evangelical Christian Publishers Association” has strengthened the Christian publishing industry by facilitating networking, providing information, and presenting advocacy opportunities throughout the industry since 1974. As a result, members have successfully created and released innovative Christian content.

Since 1978, the “Christian Book Award” program has acknowledged the most exceptional selection of Christian books. Contingent on unique content, distinct design, and positive influence, the “Christian Book Award” program winners are receiving one of the earliest and notable awards in the religious publishing industry.

The “Evangelical Christian Publishers Association” released the list of 14 winners for the 2021 Christian Book Awards in 12 different categories, one of which had a tie in the Audio category and a twofold win for Faith & Culture and Christian Book of the Year categories.

“Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation” by Latasha Morrison won the prestigious Christian Book of the Year award as well as the Faith & Culture award. The winning novel invites Christians to gain a more profound understanding of the need for racial reconciliation in a divided culture. It aims to convey racial literacy and cultural intelligence to help educate people on a different perspective. Morrison’s triumphant work was her first book published by “WaterBrook.”
