Eighteen years later, fans everywhere are cheering for the return of the epic true saga of Elder John H. Groberg’s missionary adventures in Tonga in “The Other Side of Heaven 2: Fire of Faith”.

The first movie, distributed by Disney in 2001 and featured Anne Hathaway, was an instant hit that detailed Elder Groberg’s first mission to Tonga in the 1950’s as a 19 year-old bachelor. Now, the sequel shares his return to the Polynesian island in the 1960’s with his wife and five young daughters to serve as President of the Tonga-Fiji Mission.

The true story details the trials and tribulations the family went through when John’s wife, Jean, gives birth to their sixth child; a boy born with a serious life threatening illness. With their newborn’s life on the line in a far away land, the family has to remember that God is still with them. They receive tremendous support from the community that proves just how powerful God is, as they come together to all pray for a miracle.

“The Other Side of Heaven Part 2: Fire of Faith” is coming to theaters June 28th. You can catch the official trailer below.
