Don’t you just love doing those “30 Day” challenges? Movies, music, all sorts of fun stuff. We thought it would be fun to do one here on the Gospel Soundcheck blog, but with one noteable difference: every 7 days, you get to sing!

That’s right! Once every 7 days there’s an INTERACTIVE CHALLENGE where you’re invited to videotape yourself singing the song you pick. Upload the video to your YouTube account and then post the link in the comment section on that day’s post. We’ll pick some of our favorite videos to feature on the blog and in the Beliefnet Entertainment newsletter. (If you’re camera shy, just post your answer the same way as always. But really, don’t you want to sing?)

If you’ve never done one of these, it’s really simple. Click the link to the day you’re answering, and leave a comment on that day’s post. (For example “Day 1: All time favorite Christian song or hymn – Amazing Grace”) Start anytime with Day 1 and work through the 30 days. Remember that links to video answers for the interactive challenges have to be posted on that day to possibly be featured on the blog or in the newsletter.

Don’t worry if you’re starting the challenge days or weeks after everyone else. It’s an ongoing thing – that’s what makes it fun!
