I am predisposed to be excited about the upcoming Muppet Movie, just because I loved those when I was a kid and I’m excited about what Jason Segel will do with the franchise. Along with Segel, Amy Adams and Rashida Jones are starring in the film.  Also, I thought this fake-out trailer was perfect.

And as a designer I really, really want to like this poster. Great concept. But…there’s just something about those Muppet legs that gives me the willies. There’s a reason we’re used to seeing them from the waist up. And don’t get me started on the crotch-level camera angle. Jiminy.
