The third archaeological thriller in the Art West series (of seven) has just come out, and is available from Amazon, and even more cheaply from www.wipfandstock.com.  I am challenging you fiction hounds out there to get a copy and put up a review on Amazon.

In this episode in the series we learn about discoveries at Hierapolis in Turkey at Papias’ House, including the earliest testimonies about the origins of our canonical Gospels.  Meanwhile back in Jerusalem a first century menorah is discovered, complete with a ‘demon’ papyrus rolled up inside it.  Art West and his friends Grace Levine (who gets married in this episode) and Kahlil el Said are caught up in a vortex of intrigue, murder most foul, mystery and discovery. And in the middle of all the chaos—- Art West falls in love with a Turkish archaeologist.  There is something in this novel for everyone…. and topping it all off,  it includes pictures of the sites and objects of attention in the novel.  What more could you want?
