One of the most interesting aspects of life is the variety  of situations you encounter on a daily basis.

What makes this even more interesting is that some of these situations really take on its own fascinating and unique twist.

It brought up a thought provoking question…

“What’s the most unique situation you have ever been in?”

While thinking about this I was also taking into consideration,  not just a situation, but a specific time frame.

I actually came up with a few as there are some that I could include here from different areas of my life but for some reason one stands out at the moment.

And interestingly enough, this is something I was just discussing with someone this past week.

Back in 1992 I went back to visit the house I grew up in as a youth in New Jersey. I did this 9 years after having lived there. This was something I had always wanted to do.

When I was living in that house—we lived there for 7 years and 3 months— I lived next door to someone who I became friends with.

What really added to the uniqueness of going back to visit  my old house is that the person who was now living there was my friend who used to live next door to me!

It was very interesting and unique being given a tour of the house I basically grew up in by my friend who used to live next door to me, who used to come over to that same house when I lived there.

As he was showing each room of my former house I was thinking about certain events and moments that took place in each room that has really helped me in my life.

This ranged from studying, to working out, to the people who would come over and visit, to speaking with someone on the phone, and to many other meaningful events that took place in my life up to that point.

In fact, now I can look back on this and put even more emphasis on the important events that took place in that house during the time I lived there as a very important part of my life’s journey.

So what is the most unique situation you have ever been in and how has it contributed to your life?

Whatever that situation is for you, just know that it is unique to you. Others may not see it as being something of importance but all that counts is how it has served you and people you have helped as a result.

As we go through our lives sometimes we forget, especially in the moment as they’re going on, the significance of certain  events.

However it’s never too late to go back through them and really see how they have contributed to your life…

And especially to how they have helped you become the magnificent and brilliant person you are.

When you realize this, one of the most powerful things you can do is to tell those people who were part of those situations how they have contributed to your life.

By doing this you really add a lot of value to their lives because they may not know how much they have contributed to yours.

This allows them to see their own brilliance and since you’re seeing this in them already you’ll see it even more in you.

This is yet another way for you to see how amazing of a person you are and how much value you contribute to the world with your uniqueness.
