Aloha,

One of the things I love about the holidays is all the angels on display everywhere. I can wander around the mall and get all caught up in the fearful energy of having to give, debt and picking just the right gift or I can thoroughly enjoy the lights and the beautiful decorations while giving from the heart.

Is the cup half empty or half full?

It is amazing what a difference our perspective makes. Our perspective actually influences our lives more than anything else, so learning to expand or change our perspective is an incredibly valuable skill.

I often talk about seeing life through the eyes of the angels. What do you suppose that looks like? If you viewed your life from that perspective what would you see? What would you do differently? Would you have more gratitude and love and be better able to surround your judgment and fear?

Not too long ago I wrote a post about creating an angel box and it has been made into a gallery. I find the symbolism of making a box, writing my prayers and placing in them box most useful. I also find asking myself this question very powerful: “How can I see this through the eyes of the angles?”

How could you see the economy and the holidays through the eyes of the angels? Angles never see limitations so the economy would be just as it is, filled with endless possibilities and the holidays simlpy a time to celebrate and enjoy life.

I can look around the world and see lots of angels, some lost and some expressing their divine nature or I can see a world of violence and anger. The world doesn’t change but my experience of it and my responses sure do.

Moment by moment we are either adding more love or fear to the world. Seeing life through the eyes of the angels helps me choose love every time.

With love and aloha,
Susan
