Liz Sheridan was an actress most known for her role as Jerry Seinfeld's mother in the NBC sitcom Seinfeld. In 1952 the actress was engaged to James Dean and would later write the book Dizzy and Jimmy based on their relationship. Sheridan got her start in show business as a dancer in New York city nightclubs where she eventually met James Dean. The actress has been in over a dozen films and 60 television movies and series in her life. Sheridan passed away on April 15th, 2022 at the age of 93. The media pointed out the coincidence of her passing shortly after actress Estelle Harris who played George Constanza's mother in Seinfeld.
