Chad Smith is currently the drummer of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers. He joined the band in 1988 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the group in 2012. He also serves as the drummer for the hard rock group Chickenfoot and the all-instrumental group Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats. He is considered to be one of rock music's best drummers and has been highly sought after by a number of different musicians.
