Lean Remini has been in supporting roles since the early ‘90s (remember Zack Morris’ summer love at the beach club on Saved by the Bell?). However, it was her role as the sassy, quintessential sitcom wife in King of Queens, playing opposite Kevin James. Although her mother was Jewish, in 2001, she told CNN that she belonged to the Church of Scientology. While she knew about the controversy regarding the religion she said, “"I can see how people might trip out about it. But I've been doing it for so long."

Update: As of July, 2013, Leah and the entire extended Remini family have broken with the Church of Scientology due to recent tensions between Leah and other high-ranking Church members.
