Chicago native Chancellor Bennett, aka Chance the Rapper, is a singer, songwriter, rapper, activist, and producer known for his abstract lyricism that has earned him three Grammy awards, including Best Rap album. He first gained attention following the release of his second mixtape, “Acid Rap,” that debuted on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Chance the Rapper considers himself a Christian rapper and refers to Jesus Christ in many of his songs.
