In 2005,in the first round and with the fourth overall pick, the New Orleans Hornets drafted Chris Paul from Wake Forest University. Later, in 2008 he signed a contract extension and received a gold medal for the Senior Men’s Basketball Team in Beijing. In 2011, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers where he continues to lead the league in assists and rebounds. Chris Paul has several charities that are dedicated to helping children and families in New Orleans. He also added his own basketball shoe and clothing line by Jordan to his achievements.
