Brad Paisley was born and raised in West Virginia. His interest in music started when he was young, influenced by his maternal grandfather, who gave him his first guitar.
Brad opened for the likes of George Jones and The Judds, and has collaborated with artists like Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, and Reba McEntire. His first album Who Needs Pictures (1999) landed 13th in the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums. His single of the same name allowed him to perform for the first time in Grand Ole Opry.
He has won countless awards, including Top Male Vocalist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards 5 times, and twice was Male Artist of the Year at the American Country Awards.
He is married to Kimberly Williams, with whom he has two sons. He records his songs with the live band, The Drama Kings.
