Hawaii's own Barack Hussein Obama has had a fast paced political career, beginning at Columbia University and Harvard Law School, and eventually taking him to the Presidency on the promise of "hope." He became the first black president of the United States. While his upbringing wasn't religious, Obama found solace in the Christian faith as he entered adulthood. Experience with black churches in Chicago gave him beliefs the positive power of religion, and he joined the ranks of Christian politicians including his Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.
