- Fun Fact: Stella McCartney has joked that she is "a really bad Jew" because she is "always so excited to say" that she's Jewish, but she does not "live and breathe the religion."
Stella McCartney is the daughter of Sir Paul McCartney, the base guitarist and a singer for the Beatles, and Linda McCartney, an animal rights activist. Stella herself is a fashion designer and animal rights activist. She was born in London and has two full-blood siblings and an older half-sister. According to Paul McCartney, the name of the group he was part of after the Beatles, Wings, was inspired by Stella's difficult birth as McCartney prayed she would be born on "the wings of an angel."
