Kelly McGillis is an actress. She’s best known for her role as Charlie in “Top Gun” and for her roles in films like “Made in Heaven,” “Witness,” and “The House on Carroll Street.” After her debut in “Reuben, Reuben,” McGillis appeared in “Witness,” which earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

She’s also appeared in several television shows, and stage plays. McGillis was raised in Los Angeles. After dropping out of school and getting her GED in 1975, she decided to study acting at Julliard, where she graduated in 1983.
