Garry Marshall loved making people laugh - perhaps that's why he's most known for his work in creating Happy Days, one of the most iconic television programs that has stood the test of time. He's worked with Hollywood legends and icons on projects from Pretty Woman to Laverne a& Shirley, and produced, directed, acted...you name it, in Hollywood he's done it.

His son, Scott, is also a director, and you might know his sister, Penny Marshall, from her time as Laverne on Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.

He also "portrayed" a director on a float in the 2014 Rose Parade.
