Keitel has also starred in films like “Taxi Driver,” “Mean Streets,” “Thelma & Lousie” and “The Irishman.” Keitel has received numerous nominations, including an Academy Award and Golden Globe nomination for his role in “Bugsy.”

Harvey Keitel was born in New York City, the youngest child of Jewish immigrants. His mother was from Romania, while his father hailed from Poland. His father sold sewing machines, and his mother worked in a cafeteria. Keitel married his wife, Daphna Kastner, in Jersualem in 2001. A rabbi performed the ceremony, and the couple visited the Western Wall after the wedding.
