Clayton Kershaw was drafted in 2006 and reached the majors when he was just 20 years old. His debut in 2008 made him the youngest player in the major leagues. He won the pitching Triple Crown and National League Cy Young Award in 2011, and he was the youngest pitcher to accomplish either feat since 1985. Throughout his career he has been described as the best pitcher in baseball. Off the field, he is known for his humanitarian work where he concentrates on children in Zambia.
