Boris Kodjoe was born Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe. He was born in Vienna, Austria and went to school at Virginia Commonwealth University where he studied marketing. While attending VCU, he played on the Rams' tennis team. As an actor, he is best known for his roles as Kelby in the 2002 romantic comedy, "Brown Sugar," and for his protrayal of sports-courier agent Damon Carter on "Soul Food." He currently co-stars on "Real Husbands of Hollywood" and the "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff "Station 19."
