Paul Goldschmidt is one of Major League Baseball’s most respected players. A first baseman and powerful hitter, he’s also known for his leadership. And even as a seven-time All-Star and the National League MVP, he stays humble on and off the field.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, on September 10, 1987, he spent most of his childhood in The Woodlands, Texas. He started playing baseball at an early age, and he quickly became an exceptional athlete.
