Camille Grammer was born in California but moved with her family as a child to New Jersey. She attended NYU and UCLA, studying dance. At one point, she worked for MTV on Club MTV as a dancer, and has also appeared in a number of adult films. She is most known for her appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as the wife of Kelsey Grammer. It's well documented that the episode in which she declared that Kelsey wanted to end their marriage remains one of the highest-rated episodes, in terms of viewership.
After marrying Kelsey and supporting his career, she began working behind the scenes for their production company, and still works with him to this day, though her on-screen roles have been extremely limited.
She and ex-husband Kelsey have 2 children, both born via surrogate. After their divorce, she had a radical hysterectomy for endometrial cancer and is an outspoken advocate for screening and for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
