Viola Davis is an actress and producer. She was born in South Carolina and began her acting career in minor theater productions. She attended the Juilliard School and graduated in 1993. Following her graduation she played minor and supporting characters before winning a Tony for her performance as Tonya in "King Deley II." Her film breakthrough came wit her role in the 2008 drama "Doubt." She is perhaps best known, however, for her roles as Aibileen Clark in "The Help" and Annalise Keating in "How to Get Away with Murder."
