Fun Fact: Daughtry's first band was called Absent Element and they performed Christian covers
He was a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol and became the show's rock star heartthrob. Although he didn't win the big prize, his debut album reached No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200. His 2007 hit "Home" made it onto the Christian charts, arousing suspicion about the artist's faith.
