William Lance Berkman, nicknamed "Big Puma," is an outfielder and first baseman. He has played a total of 15 seasons in the major leagues and been part of the Houston Astros, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers. He was part of the Cardinals team that won the 2011 World Series and has been named MLB All-Star no less than six times. He has played all three outfield positions regularly during his career. Berkman also leads a group called "Berkman's Bunch," an outreach for underpriviledged children, and has been named one of the 30 most generous celebrities by Forbes Magazine.
