Elizabeth Banks moved to New York after graduating from college and started acting, with small roles in TV and film before heading to Los Angeles to pursue film roles as a full time actress. She scored regular roles as the love interests of Zac Braff in Scrubs and Alec Baldwin in 30 Rock which earned her 2 Emmy nominations. One of her biggest roles to date has been that of Effie Trinket in the box office megahit The Hunger Games.
