Amanda Bynes is an actress. She started her career as a child, appearing on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy show “All That” and its spin-off series “The Amanda Show.” During her mid-teens, she played Holly Tyler on the sitcom “What I Like About You,” Kaylee in the film “Big Fat Liar,” and Daphne Reynolds in the comedy film “What a Girl Wants.” She also voiced Piper Pinwheeler in the animated movie “Robots.” As an adult, she starred as Viola Hastings in the rom-com “She’s the Man,” Penny Lou Pingleton in the musical “Hairspray,” and Marianne Bryant in “Easy A.”

In October 2014, Bynes accused her father of abuse in a series of tweets. After her parents protested and claimed innocence, Bynes tweeted that her father never abused her.
