David Arquette is the youngest child of the Arquette family acting dynasty, with siblings Rosanna, Alexis, Richmond, and Patricia all having individual credits to their name. Born on a Subud commune in Virginia, David had an unusual upbringing, of French-Canadian descent but of mixed-faith parents.
Arquette's mother was Jewish, and his father converted from Catholicism to Islam, and is distantly related to the renowned explorer Meriwether Lewis, of Lewis & Clark Expedition fame.
Arquette's break-out film is considered by many to be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but he's perhaps most know for his role in the Scream series, as well as a number of television roles, including on his ex-wife Courteney Cox's show, Cougar Town. He's also the voice of Skully on fan-favorite Disney animated series Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
He also briefly competed in World Championship Wrestling, a move that many contribute as leading to the demise of the organization, though he was a one-time champion.
