After years and years of testimony by a myriad of witnesses, the trial of Oded Golan has come to a quiet halt. Now the matter is in the hands of the judge, who may well deliberate until the end of the year.  I have provided you with the link above to Matthew’s full report. In the end, he was the only reporter left standing who endured the turgid, tedious, and sometimes comical proceedings of this trial brought by the IAA against Oded Golan and friends.  It appears to me that the prosecution has entirely failed to make its case, but we must abide ourselves in patience until the judge renders the final verdict.  Personally I think the aforementioned reporter, who is the only one who endured the whole trial from start to finish deserves some sort of Guinness book of records endurance award (though he might rather have a case of Guinness about now), or at least a T shirt which reads,  ‘Free the Ossuary: The Battle over the Golan is Done’.   Stay Tuned and in the mean time read Matthew’s article (see the link above), which he kindly sent me.
