Chicken Taco Filling
- 1 package dry taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts
Mix chicken broth and seasoning in a bowl.
Place the chicken in the slow cooker and pour the chicken broth mixture over it.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Shred the chicken and serve with a medium/low rice variety like Basmati, tacos shells (corn, not flour), or in a taco salad.

Taco Seasoning Mix
- 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp. Himalayan pink salt (or sea salt)
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
This will make just about the same amount of the packaged taco seasoning mix, but much cheaper and probably healthier!
