INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 half-inch thick lemon slice

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream


TO PREPARE:

Mix all ingredients except sour cream in a saucepan, and boil 20 minutes.  Press through a strainer.  Chill for four hours.  Stir in sour cream.  Serve in wine or sherry glasses as a first course.
