“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127:3-5

Children are a precious gift of the Lord, a reward –and this reward will show up for families when they least expect them. These beautiful miracles of God are created for more than our own selfish needs. They are brought into the world to live a life according to God’s will. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to train our children in the way they should go, and even when they are old, we are not to depart from it. Children are not burdens but great blessings to us that when brought up in Christ can be blessings to others.
