Wounded is defined as a feeling of sadness, anger, etc., that is caused by something bad that has happened to you. However, no words can truly describe the pain that an individual feels when they’re wounded. Instead of trying to fill a void, it’s imperative that an individual turn to their faith for true guidance and support. The communications with God will help someone put the pieces back together.

I have been needy and overly-anxious, Desperate and too willing to settle. Please calm the need in me that leads to unwise choices. Fill the emptiness in my heart that makes me crave unhealthy love.
