Margie Impert played Diane Wilson, who fell in love with and married Scotty Wilson (played by James Troesh).

Impert already had a TV and film career before joining the show. She had appeared on M.A.S.H., Magnum, P.I., and the horror movie The Howling. She was also a regular on the short-lived sitcom Maggie.

While she was on Highway to Heaven, Impert also worked on projects like Berrenger’s and Michael Nesmith in Television Parts.

Unlike some of her castmates, Impert didn’t continue acting in Hollywood for long after the show. Her last credited acting job seems to have been Highway to Heaven in 1986.

She later stepped away from the spotlight, making her story one of the more mysterious among the show’s familiar faces.
