TreVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots
TreVeyon Henderson is beginning his second season with the New England Patriots, on Sept. 9 in Seattle on NBC. Before the NFL, Henderson had an outstanding career at Ohio State. He was part of the Buckeyes' National Championship in the 2024-25 season, sharing backfield duties with Quinshon Judkins. TreVeyon finished his career at OSU with the fifth-highest total for career rushing yards, and he served as a captain for the team during his senior year. Following his college career, TreVeyon was drafted in the second round by New England, where he was part of the Patriots' turnaround under new head coach Mike Vrabel.
TreVeyon's Christian faith deepened during his college career, particularly after suffering an injury during his sophomore season. Since that time, he has been outspoken about his Christian faith. Recently, as the Patriots began training camp, Henderson noted in an interview that he cannot do anything without Jesus. He insists that God does not choose strong people, but stated, "I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and women, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory." Whatever this season may bring, TreVeyon will face it knowing that God is with him.
