Actor Shia LaBeouf has spoken out about a dark period of deep personal shame and despair. He explained that he hit rock bottom following public scandals and personal failures. He felt isolated and suicidal. While on the set of "Fury," he began building a connection to God. Later, while filming "Padre Pio," he solidified his spiritual transformation. 

He says God saved him during a time of crisis, often driven by his ego. "I know now that God was using my ego to draw me to Him. Drawing me away from worldly desires.”
